JKLF to hold a one day hunger strike against this on Saturday 13^th June 2015….Yasin Malik to visit Jammu on Monday 15^th June 2015…………

Srinagar, 10^th JUNE 2015: displacing Jammu Muslims from their homes and creating fear among Muslims in Chenab area by deploying Hindu officers in place of Muslim officers has proved once again that PDP led by mufti Muhammad Sayeed is hell bent upon destroying Jammu Kashmir at the behest of RSS. Kashmiris will not remain silent spectators over the plight of Jammu Muslims and other minorities. JKLF will organize a one day protest token hunger strike on Saturday 13^TH JUNE 2015 against this. Besides this JKLF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik will lead a delegation to Jammu on Monday 15^TH JUNE 2015 to access situation on ground.

This was stated by the chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in a press statement issued today. Yasin Malik who was released from police custody on 8^th June 2015, said that mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his government has started implementing RSS agenda on Kashmir especially in Jammu. He said that so called rulers have started targeting minorities and recent killing of innocent Sikh youth and displacing Muslims from their homes and bulldozing their small homes are glaring examples of this. Muhammad Yasin Malik said that in the name of forest land, Muslims are being targeted, their homes are being bulldozed on Israeli style and hence roof is being snatched from the heads of thousands of poor and downtrodden Muslims. Moreover Muslim officers are being transferred and Hindu officers of RSS choice are being deployed all over the region and throughout Chenab valley to create fear among Muslims and other minorities. This has actually threatened the minorities especially Muslims living in these areas who are being pushed to wall and hence compelled to migrate. Yasin Malik said that mufti Sayeed has shown that he is a staunch RSS man who will do everything possible to please his masters in Nagpur. He said that 1947 like situation is being created throughout Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwra, Baderwah and Rambhan areas and rulers want to displace Muslims from these areas so that is becomes easy for them to settle down RSS agents and workers from outside state in these areas. Yasin Malik said that there are reports that mufti government through its officers is trying to manipulate data of population to change the demography of these areas so that Muslim majority areas are turned as minority. Yasin Malik said that in 1947 more than 3 Lakh Muslims were massacred in Jammu and leader of Kashmir sheikh Muhammad Abdullah closed his eyes and let that ethnic cleansing to happen .today mufti Sayeed has gone one step further and he and his government are adhering to policy of harassing Jammu Muslims and other minorities so that their masters in Nagpur are pleased with them, added Yasin Malik. He said that separating Jammu and Kashmir on communal lines is old agenda of RSS and so called Jammu Kashmir government by following policies like these are actually fulfilling this condemnable agenda.

Malik said that according to authentic surveys only 25% recent population is living on lands that have ownership .Rest are on either government lands or forest lands .hundreds of colonies, government offices and other mighty establishments are on forest lands but only poor Muslims who have been living there from decades are being targeted and displaced.  He said that present regime in Jammu Kashmir from the first day is trying to pursue the RSS agenda here. Be it state subject issue or settling down refugees or separate colonies for pundits and issuing state subject in schools, policies of mufti led government are anti Kashmir and anti Muslim but we want to convey him a simple message that they are playing with fire and these measures will have disastrous results and the responsibility of all this would rest with the rulers. Yasin Malik said Kashmiri will not watch atrocities on Jammu Muslims and other minorities silently and JKLF will protest against this government policy of terrorizing Jammu Muslims and on Saturday 13^th June 2015 a one day token protest hunger strike led by chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik will be held at Budshah chowk. Besides this JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik will lead a delegation to Jammu where they will meet Muslim leaders and other people and deliberate upon the recent condemnable measures taken by so called rulers.

Meanwhile JKLF has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a member of Tehreek I Hurriyat Altaf ur Rehman in Sopore. While paying tributes to the martyred youth, JKLF delegation comprising of zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal, JKLF deputy organizer Siraj ud Din Mir, Zonal vice president Muhammad Sideeq shah, district president Baramullah Abdul Rashid Magloo, Molvi Reyaz, Ghulam Qadir khan, Khizar Muhammad Dhobi and Gulzar Ahmad Baghwan visited the bereaved family and expressed heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of martyr Altaf ur Rehman.
